ОПИСАНИЕ
Hello Google Developers,
we are back from I/O 13 in San Francisco and recovered from all the geeky craziness. Before our summer break starts we invite you to another meetup jam-packed with interesting Google technology.
If you join us at our gracious host ImmobilienScout you can enjoy these talks:
I/O 13 recap
As always I/O 13 brought a lot of new announcements, products and features.
If you couldn't find the time to watch all the videos and read all the announcements yet our dear co-lead +Jerome Mouton will give you his very subjective review of the most important news coming out of I/O.
It won't free you of watching a few more of those #io13 videos but it'll bring you closer to the goal of being in the know.
BigQuery explained
We are very happy to have Googler +Martin Görner, Developer Relations based in Paris, with us again.
He will explain how BigQuery works on the inside in an interactive analysis.
Google Compute Engine vs. “well-known competitor”
Since I/O 13 Google Compute Engine is publicly available.
+Alexander Surma took the time to prepare a comparison to existing IaaS offers and an introduction to the noteworthy features of GCE.
Introduction to Chrome Packaged Apps
For a long time now Chrome offered the possibility to enhance your browsing experience with the help of extensions.
With Packaged Apps you can now deliver full Javascript clients to your users with offline features and new APIs.
Our co-lead +Stefan Hoth will be giving you a quick introduction into the new possibilities the new format brings.
What else?
As always we'll bring you up to speed what's new with Google and GDGs and will have time for meeting the other Google developers.
