Best Student's Scientific Publication by ACM Ukraine (05/2017)

Competition for the Best Student's Scientific Publication is dedicalted to: * the Ukraine ACM Celebration of Women in Computing * the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics Birthday * the Day of the Science in Ukraine Celebration Authors of computing-connected scientific papers are welcome to participate in this Competiton, organized by ACM Ukrainian Chapter. Please, read the competition rules and submit your paper before 05/19/2017 at the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/KAO7AkjHjfITlxUo2 Participation is free after the registration. The winner will get the Award from the ACM - 2000 UAH. All participants will get gifts from the ACM at the Awarding Ceremony on 22th of the May, 2017. All submitted works should comply with the following requirements: 1) the Author ** (see the note below!) should be a student by the Awarding Ceremony date (05/22/2017), 2) the work *** should be publicly accessible (via the link, URL), 3) the work should be published before the 01/01/2017, 4) the work should be connected with computing field (IT, CS etc.). Criteria of scoring (bidding) the scientific publications are the following (only one bid, the highest of applicable, added for each point of scoring): * publication type: conference proceedings (+1), regular journal (+2) * journal (issue, event) type: Ukrainian (+1), International (+2), in SCOPUS database (+3) * peer-reviewed issue: yes (+1), no (0) * publication size: 1-4 pages (+1), 5 and more pages (+2) * language of publication: Ukrainian (+1), English (+2), other (0) * the work citations (counted by Google Scholar): no (0), 1 (+1), 2 and more (+2) * availability and visibility: open access via given URL (+1), availability in search results via googling (+2) * the total number of the Author's publications (including as a co-author, counted by Google Scholar): 2 and more (+1), only 1 (0) * ACM Member is one of the work authors: yes (+1), no (0) * if woman (which is a student-girl) is one of the work authors (+2) -- 'cos we are celebrating Ukraine ACM Celebration of Women in Computing! * voting on the Award day by participants of ACM Celebration: from 0 to 1, proportional to the number of votes ** NOTE: by "the Author" we understand the responsible author, the one of co-authors of the submitted Scientific Publication, which is responsible for the communications regarding this competition. *** the work is the submitted Scientific Publication to this Competition by the Author Please, subscribe & follow us to know the news!
