You are invited to attend a free video-presentation by Erik Magdanz, a U.S. diplomat and successful serial entrepreneur and investment banker. In his presentation he will share his insights in being an entrepreneur, how to create successful startups as well as what investors look for in startups. Two of Erik's startups were acquired by publicly-held companies, and another completed a successful initial public offering (IPO) just 9 months after the foundation of the company. He also launched a startup in Europe, which although did not have a successful financial exit, provided useful experience and insights into the European business environment for young companies. In addition, he's also spent 3 years as an investment banker and managed over 20 private capital investments, 15 public offerings, and 10 mergers in the high-technology and Internet sectors.
