18:00 – “The semantics of al dente pasta cooking - Spaghetti code and managing large java based enterprise applications with OSGi” by Jesper Thuun-Petersen (Denmark), Section Manager, Research & Development STIBO.
In his speech, Jasper will cover the following aspects:
- The pros and cons of monolithic builds with Ant;
- Modular component based systems based on OSGi and Gradle;
- API design and governance;
- Semantic versioning.

19:00 – “How to stop being DevOps and start living?” by Anton Kostyliev (Netherlands), Senior software engineer, AKQA.
DevOps has been extremely hot topic for quite a while, and it still stays in trend. Many developers shift their focus to DevOps - and there’re good reasons for this. But is it always the case? How much of this work can be just automated without a need of going into Ops details? In this presentation we will try figure out, how nowadays cloud computing technologies can help to save developers’ time.

20:00 - “Test-driven development tools for Java developers” by Viktar Patotski (Belarus), Senior Java Developer/ Tech Lead, Ciklum Minsk.
Viktar will focus in his presentation on the benefits and values that TDD practices bring into software development projects. He will share his own experience of TDD injection into ongoing and new Java-projects discussing administrative, technical and psychological aspects of TDD injection. Viktar will share some tools making development process easier, faster and cheaper; and finally, Viktar will share some useful ideas how to sell TDD to your teammates and project managers.
