ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The edge between cutting edge AI academic research and its application to real-world problems gets more and more blurry. Once there is a great idea published as a research paper it often needs just few weeks to be adopted by the startups around the world.
Mykola Maksymenko will tell a story about recent advances in Machine Learning and particularly Deep Learning and how very recent academic studies find its way to the market almost immediately.
As we work in the same spirit in R&D, he will mention several examples of how we find, create and utilise the most recent ideas in our own projects. This will concern automatic image captioning, neural style transfer, biosignal processing, AI in mobile systems, etc.

P.S. Bring your Linux/Mac laptops (as Windows may be problematic) and couple of images of your favorite artists (the more it has texture - the better) as you'll have a chance to create your own image, as we've done for Mukha.
