The events of May and June 2017 (the infamous hacker attacks with the use of WannaCry and Petya viruses, practically paralyzed the work of large companies around the world) led to the fact that the interest of company management in information security has ceased to be superficial, and pessimism about the effectiveness of the measures taken increased exponentially.
