ОПИСАНИЕ
While Agile practitioners value simplicity, most of their organizations struggle to maximize the amount of work not done as business environments and product ecosystems become increasingly complex and unpredictable. This is compounded by time-to-market pressure and tougher technical problems. Mandated bureaucratic policies to improve organizational efficiency and predictability often result in more work and less customer value. Many organizations have decided to adopt Agile to become more responsive to changing and uncertain conditions. However, these organizations need more than a set of recipes or ‘best practices’ to fundamentally transform their culture.
This course will tackle some of the most challenging impediments facing Agile advocates including…
• How do we scale Agile?
• How do we amplify and spread an Agile culture across the organization?
• How do we influence and change systems we don’t own?
• How do we measure culture change?
• How do we set up change initiatives for success?
The Cynefin Framework helps teams work effectively, improve decision making, and adapt management styles across different environments with various degrees of uncertainty and complexity. While most Agile practitioners know how approaches like Scrum and Kanban work, Cynefin explains why these methods and principles work well. For example, Agile practitioners know that business people and developers must work together daily throughout the project, yet few know why managing in the present is a fundamental pattern for being effective in complex situations. The Cynefin Framework helps Agile practitioners to effectively select, adapt, and deploy methods and practices for different situations. Cynefin-informed methods and practices help Agile organizations harness change and complexity for the customer’s competitive advantage and forms the core curriculum of this course.
