We are at the 23rd position in the Bloomberg Innovation Index, but instead of exporting advanced technologies we still ‘export’ technologists (a distant 38th position in the Talent Attractiveness Index). The contrast at the two areas shows how much energy and how many investment projects will never bring any economic or social profit to the state. The new generations of graduates from technology schools acquire the belief that a real career is possible only abroad. The purpose of the panel is to evaluate the solutions that can be applied in Poland in the area of promotion of the Polish development chances abroad, scholarship programmes, investment instruments and soft–landing programmes. The first Polish teams that won competition with other innovation hubs in the world, as well as the results of pilot programmes of talent attracting will be presented.
