EXPLORING COLLECTIVE IMPACT

"Large-scale social change requires broad cross-sector coordination, yet the social sector remains focused on the isolated intervention of individual organizations" (Katia and Kramer, SSIR 2011). Join us for a fun and festive session looking at Collective Impact on Thursday 11th December at 6pm at Impact Hub Berlin. The complex social problems we face today require unprecedented collaboration among different organisations, sectors and even countries. Collective Impact as an approach has been growing in the United States. What would it look like here in Berlin? What's already happening? How might this approach enhance the work we are each doing? Michele Lee Golden will introduce the session and a practice example from Berlin (tbc) will be presented as a prompt for discussion. Participants will be invited to take part in a mapping exercise to allow each of us to see what's already happening and how we can apply the conditions of collective impact to our own work.
