On Halloween this Tuesday, let's meet and sit around the startup graveyard to share stories about all the dead startup ideas and businesses around us.
Digital Freedom Festival and TechHub Riga are organising a special Halloween party on October 31st with beer and bullion to help normalise the stigma around failure in the startup industry and understand how it is necessary for technology to develop and evolve. Statistic show that nine out of ten startups fail, we just don't talk about it enough!
Our first speaker: Guntis Šmaukstelis once upon a time founded MightyFingers, which did not quite go according to the plan. Now Guntis has put all of his expertise and experience into boosting the new Solfeg.io startup as their CTO. RIP MightyFingers!
The 2nd speaker, Roberts Bernans (now co-founder at Nordigen) will share his funeral story about his previous startup - Airbay, which attempted to create a secondary market for airline tickets. RIP Airbay!
