Come and join us for another round of monthly “Hubperitivo: Pitch, talk & drinks” on Thursday January 29th! ****Pitchers**** Join us for pitches from Ruby Cup, the initiators of Le Petit Rebel (http://lepetitrebel.de) and the Impact Hub Berlin team themselves! *Ruby Cup* Ruby Cup is an award winning social business that is based in Berlin and Nairobi. Ruby Cup provides a healthy and long-lasting female hygiene solutions to girls and women world-wide. For every Ruby Cup sold in high-end markets, one product is donated to an underprivileged girl in Kenya. Girls in developing countries cannot afford sanitary products and because they are ashamed of leaking, they stay home from school. Through its "buy one give one" business model, Ruby Cup helps girls to stay in school. ---> Challenge: The challenge now lies in the long shelf life of their product. *Le Petit Rebel* (the platform formerly know as...) Exciting times! Mitzi and Annika are working on revamping and relaunching their project to support girls in skateboarding and longboarding; teaching them, bringing them together and breaking stereotypes in the process. With a new team and a fresh start, the project is ripe for some creative and strategic input from our community! ---> Challenge: How can we make the most of our network and what kind of projects/collaborations would be interesting to set up for our target group? *Impact Hub Berlin* We are moving into a new space and we are working on a Crowdfunding Campaign to create the most beautiful space to prototype the future of business. ---> Challenge: What ideas can we gather to set up the best possible crowdfunding campaign for the new space? ****Event Outline**** Impact Hub Berlin’s “Hubperitivo: Pitch, talk & drinks” seeks to bring together people in and around the Impact Hub community to discuss entrepreneurs’ projects and provide peer-support for current challenges. While enjoying delicious snacks and “aperitivo”, you learn about exciting business ideas from the Impact Hub community, bring in your thoughts and experiences to help solve the presenters’ problems and meet interesting people. • 5 minute pitches of current challenges in entrepreneurs’ projects • 15-20 minute rounds of feedback and solution brainstorming • Delicious snacks provided by those who present and seek your feedback
