Ingenious addition to Shakespeare’s Hamlet play, turning the tragedy into the slap-stick comedy.
The film version of Tom Stoppard’s same-name play, where real British humor makes spectators to think of philosophical perception of existence. The movie engages wonderful British actors: Tim Roth and Gary Oldman. They play a strange and, at the same time, funny situation shot according to all theatre rules: leading characters take a back seat and secondary figures shift to the first place in the action.
