On August 31, 2017, we invite you to enjoy together Thursday evening in Kyiv with great speakers who will talk about Kotlin.
Advanced Kotlin Programming. Kotlin functions, delegation, classes, generics, reflection – David Mayboroda, Senior Android Engineer, Lohika Kyiv
• We will look at interesting Kotlin features, like infix function, lambda extensions
• Also, we will dive into the delegation of properties, fields and generics, invariance. This live coding session helps you to understand Kotlin features.
Coroutines in Kotlin – Dmitriy Zaitsev, Mobile Team Lead, Lohika Kyiv
• We will talk about generators/yield, async/await, channels, composable/delimited continuations, and its usage
• Consider the available API
• Make the overview of standard kotlinx.coroutines library
Speakers profile:
David Mayboroda, Senior Android Engineer of Lohika Kyiv office - 5+ years’ experience in Android Development, Google Dev Fest Android Hackathon V Winner, Mobile Rocks Hackathon Winner. Active Speaker of Android Community.
Dmitriy Zaitsev, Mobile Team Lead of Lohika Kyiv office – more than 6 years professionally engaged in developing Android apps and more than 3 years uses Kotlin. He creates solutions for information security, e-banking, medicine, social networks, and mechanical hardware. Today he's a mentor, open-source contributor, active speaker of Android Community, actual Judge of Dev Challenge.
