We are glad to announce that Kristo Kaarmann - founder of TransferWise, is going to be visiting Cherkasy on 18th of November. We persistently asked him and he has kindly agreed to meet and talk to Cherkassy IT audience. In less than a 5 years time startup founded by Kristo and his friend and business partner Taavet has earned the trust of the community that transfers over a half a billion pounds through the TransferWise platform every month. It gathered a team of more than 400 smart and active people spread across 5 offices that located in Estonia, United Kingdom, United States and Ukraine/Cherkasy (which at the moment has 12 engineers). Kristo is going to share the story of the successful startup, challenges faced and opportunities seized during journey from the startup's initial idea and it's validation until the present time. At TransferWise today, Kristo is in charge of all operations activities, technology, development, compliance and regulatory issues.
