Web application security is a complex matter. Transport layer (TLS) has constantly evolved along with the Internet, and we are now entering a new phase of it. Letsencrypt is a web initiative by Linux Foundation that aims to encrypt all the web. Processes of automating SSL certificate retrieval and deployment will be reviewed on this knowledge sharing session. We’ll talk about scenarios of using lets encrypt certificated with load balancers, common servers including IIS. Some Linux scripting will be involved.
