Thomas Steiner CEO at MChE Trading
Born in 1957 in Vienna, Austria, Thomas Steiner started his professional career with the Austrian automotive and defense group Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG (now Magna Inc.) and held various positions in marketing, know-how transfer and business development.
Establishing his own company, MChE Trading, he developed and worked on various aeronautic projects such as the Advanced Small Regional Jet, a small business jet, and all-wheel drive train components. For several years he consulted the Austrian general aviation aircraft manufacturer Diamond Aircraft in the area of aircraft piston engines and special mission aircrafts.
Presently he is involved in a biotech project and in the structuring of a light aircraft engine group. His passion and the mission of MChE is to get things done, to work in and with most diverse cultural, economic and technical environments.
Ulrich Hammerschmidt Managing Partner at i2i associates
Ulrich worked the past 20 years in IT and telecommunication (among others for Deutsche Telekom, Telecom Italia, Telekom Austria), with a strong focus on global business development, transformation and strategic C-level partnerships.
Three years ago, he established i2i associates, a consultancy supporting technology vendors in their expansion in Europe and North America.
Before that he held marketing and sales management positions in international companies in different industries (food, retail, electronics), giving him a very rich and diverse background.
Ulrich’s academic education includes law, business administration and telecommunication. Together with his working experience this enables him to not only understand technologies, but to also create the optimal commercial and legal set-up for their monetization. His structured, yet practical approach ensures that plans become reality timely and efficiently.
