Minecraft Hour of Code Workshop

On April 1, Riga TechGirls in partnership with Microsoft Latvia will be hosting a Minecraft Hour of Code workshop for students ages 8-13. Participants will be offered an opportunity to tour the Microsoft Riga office and to learn more about one of the leading IT companies in the world. Afterwards, we will do Hour of Code together. Upon completion, participants will receive a customized Minecraft Hour of Code certificate. Hour of Code is a global movement introducing code to everyone through game based activities. Ten percent of students around the world have participated in Hour of Code. Get introduced to coding during e-prasmju nedēļa 2017 by doing Hour of Code with Riga TechGirls and Microsoft Latvia! Workshop is free to attend, but spaces are limited to 20 students so please apply by writing your name and age to rigatechgirls@gmail.com. Please indicate the exact spelling of how you would like your name to be printed on your certificate. You will receive an email to confirm your status. Thank you! Language will be in English and Latvian. **Note: Due to high demand, we have increased the size of the group and will no longer have a tour because the group is too large.
