On 12 of April in 19:00 SPACE and Kiwi.com organize Python meetup. Speakers from Kiwi.com will talk about Python data engineering with business intelligence data in Kiwi.com. The meetup is free. In the first part of the talk the speaker will introduce Apache Airflow platform for authoring, scheduling and monitoring workflows. These so-called “data pumps” perform extract, transform and load jobs (ETL) from a number of different sources, both internal and external. Second part of the talk will focus on data streaming use-case. In order to analyze all of Kiwi.com search results to feed ML classifiers the data needs to be processed on the fly. Keywords for this parts are: Asyncio, real-time aggregation, Redis, protocol buffers, Google Pub/Sub and Google BigQuery.
