Ladies & gents,
Riga TechGirls wants to invite you for our last meetup of 2016! We will have one special guest from London - Kristina Dimitrova!
First speaker, Kristina is the founder of INTERLACED, a media and events platform highlighting everything exciting in fashion and technology. In 2015 http://interlaced.co/ hosted their initial conference and one of the first fashiontech catwalk shows in Europe. Kristina often speaks at and curates industry events such as FashionTech Days Roubaix, The 3D Printed Show, Digital Shoreditch, Digital Fashion Forum and BDYHAXCON, among others. With marketing, advertising and PR background, she also writes about the intersection of emerging technologies, media and consumer culture.
Fashion has been intertwined with technology since the invention of the Jacquard punched card loom but over the past couple of years the interest in fashion tech has grown significantly. This emerging field is transforming each part of the industry, from production processes and the creation of new materials, through to the democratisation of the fashion show as we know it. In this session, Kristina will explore some of the most significant moves from the field of fashion tech and touch upon emerging technologies such as 3D printing, the evolution of wearable tech, virtual reality and what this means for the industry going forward.
