RTG Meetup #9: Arts and Tech

Get ready for our next meetup that will be dedicated to Arts and Tech! We will focus on technology that empowers sound in creation of artwork and in music teaching process. Lineup of speakers: Gunta Dombrovska, New media artist Author of “Mind Message” an interactive sound sculpture Gunta Dombrovska during the studies of new media art, she started to combine sound with new media techniques thus creating experimental works of art. The main theme of her artwork is a digitalization of the biological processes and movements of the human body and using it as an element of interactivity to affect and control other processes and devices. Lauma Kazaka, Musician and teacher Co-founder of Solfeg.io a music education app If kids love music and technology, why are they bored in music lessons at school? Musician and teacher Lauma Kazaka is co-founding Solfeg.io, a music education app that transforms the class into a rockband, bringing the passion children have for music to practical experience in schools. We will have community announcements part, as always, so prepare your announcements. Event is in English and participation is completely for free!
