Final Hack Presentations
15:00, Sunday 25th October
FabLab Berlin
all welcome, drinks at the bar
-------------------------------------------------
Whilst you kick back for another relaxing weekend, Berlin's FabLab will be a hive of (h)activity. Around 80 of this city's greatest – scientists, developers, designers, engineers, artists, science enthusiasts of all kinds – will come together for an intense 48 hours of extreme collaboration to create their science-inspired passion projects. In other words, the second Berlin Science Hack Day is happening again 23-25th October!
On Sunday 25th October you will have the chance to see the results of this brief, but intense period of collaboration. From 15:00 FabLab will open its doors to all who didn't manage to join in on the Science Hack Day this year, or are simply curious to see what's been happening in there.
All teams will present their weird, wonderful and sciency science hacks for friends, fans and a panel of expert judges. Prizes will be awarded for different categories including the audience favourite.
Come meet the hackers, check out their hacks, and cast your vote!

What is Science Hack Day?
The mission of Science Hack Day is to get excited and make things with science! A Hack Day is a 48-hour-all-night event that brings together designers, developers, scientists and other geeks in the same physical space for a brief but intense period of collaboration, hacking, and building ‘cool stuff’. By collaborating on focused tasks during this short period, small groups of hackers are capable of producing remarkable results.
What’s a Hack?
A hack is a quick solution to a problem – maybe not the most elegant solution, but often the cleverest. On the web, mashups are a common example of hacking: mixing up data from different sources in new and interesting ways.
Who is Science Hack Day for?
Imagine a Venn diagram showing the intersection of web geeks and science geeks …that’s a pretty big intersection. Science Hack Day is for anyone with an interest in bringing science and technology together.
