Welcome to the Startup Europe Week Berlin happening on March 5-9! This event is part of the official program and we invite you to join us:
"How can we use our new digital tools to improve quality of life as much as possible on a sustainable basis?"
This is probably the most important question of our times. It guides the new, two-year dialogue process "Gut leben digital” (Quality of Life in the Digital Era). Stefan Bergheim, the project-lead and head of the non-profit think-tank “Center for Societal Progress” will spend an hour and a half with us to harvest the collective intelligence of the Berlin startup community on this question.
Stefan has been on the scientific advisory board of the German government’s national wellbeing strategy and has facilitated numerous events across Europe. The insights of the event will be used in the next steps of #gutlebendigital and they can be used by all participants in their own work for a better future. Questions we will be exploring:
(1) In which areas does digitalization already contribute positively to people’s quality of life today in Europe?
(2) In which areas does digitalization not yet have the hoped-for impact or even negative consequences for people’s quality of life in Europe?
(3) Please describe the ideal future situation: where and how does digitalization have a positive impact on quality of European life?
(4) In order to achieve this ideal situation, it is likely that action must be taken. Who do you think would have to do what to get us there?
