ОПИСАНИЕ
Berlin, one of the most important and unique startup capitals in Europe, is home to a big part of our team, and is the city where we started it all with the release of the first Startup Guide in August 2014. It is a natural choice to open the doors of our very first Startup Guide Store here.
We love the feel of a book, to open and smell the pages. While the internet and online shops have made it possible for businesses to have access to a broader market, we still believe experiences are enhanced when one can see and feel the exciting products found in the real world. We felt the need to bring back a physical, and a closer connection between who is innovating and the people who will benefit from that innovation.
The Startup Guide Store was created with the mission to promote people and businesses that are starting up and making their contributions to the world. Just like we continue to print our Startup Guides in the classic and timeless paper book format, we’re now bringing a space that will showcase entrepreneurship and creativity in person.
We’re very happy to welcome Kickstarter as an official partner of the Startup Guide Store. Kickstarter has been helping artists, filmmakers, designers, developers, and creators making their ideas a reality. To date, tens of thousands of creative projects — big and small — have come to life with the support of the Kickstarter community. We couldn’t have asked for a better partnership.
Don’t expect this to be a classic product store, but a place for experimentation, discovery, and sharing 'wows' and 'hows'.
