Spread the word: Startup Weekend Hamburg is back! Ever wondered what it takes to be an entrepreneur? The professional and personal challenges, the high and lows, the failures and the success? From June 03rd to 05th 2016 Startup Weekend Hamburg will take you from a Wantrepreneur to an Entrepreneur. If you are a designer, developer, marketer, product manager or startup enthusiast, this event is for you! It’s a 54 hour journey of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, you are invited to bring your best idea and inspire others to join your team. Of course you don’t have to present an own idea. There will be many teams in need of your skills. Over Saturday and Sunday your team focuses on customer development, validating ideas, practicing Lean Startup Methodologies and building a minimal viable product. Saturday afternoon the teams will be supported by Jedi mentors, who are experts in their fields. On Sunday evening all teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a top-class Jury and some teams will be chosen for our awesome awards along with prizes such as free design resources, software, hosting and consultation to boost their startup. Startup Weekend is a global community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 1800 events in 120 countries around the world in 2014. It’s a non-profit movement that courageously aims to change the world. Whether you will found companies (and about 36% of Startup Weekend startups are still going strong after 3 months!), get along with the big names, find a cofounder, meet someone new or learn a skill far outside your usual 9-to-5, you are guaranteed to leave the event better prepared to navigate the chaotic, but fun world of startups.
