Parag Mankeekar, founder of Neetisolutions y Ashoka´s Fellow, is in Europe until February 28th to present his work: Real Lives, a videogame, where the player chooses the life he wants to live (among over 2000 real possibilities) to put him/herself in the shoes of another person and live his/her life, while developing important 21st century skills (empathy, changemaking, etc)
RealLives™ simulation game is currently ranked 6th out of 1200 simulation games on CNET.com, with over a million downloads around the worldmaking it the only game which is successful both in the commercial game market as well as in social/serious game space. Earlier versions of RealLives simulation game are being used for last more than 10 years in more than 700+ schools in US /Europe. RealLives has also garnered lot of serious research attention across the world including a PhD thesis in Germany which confirm its empathy promoting capabilities.
Neeti team is now ready for initiating global impact through scaling up of RealLives Experience (RLE) model which is focused on enabling youth to become empathetic global citizens through digital game-inspired technology and social networking tools.
Parag is in Europe to meet people and organisations across the globe to raise required investments, look for network & domain partners, educationist, leaders who can assist Neeti team build necessary scaling up of RealLives Experience for global impact. RealLives scaling up model needs 10 MN USD to scale it to go online. We are now on to developing the next version to be launched by May 2016. After this launch they are planning for multilingual capacities to meet the demand from countries like China, Japan, South America, Korea etc.
