Pleasantly priced G&T, with Ösel dry gin and Fentimans tonic, all evening.
And the dance floor heat regulated by dj šmits!
Why a TechGin launch party? Because TechChill 2018 is coming up on February 8 & 9.
The start-up season begins in Riga with TechChill, the place where passionate entrepreneurs, challengers and curious minds from the Baltics, Nordics and CEE meet in the heart of the Baltics. Expect an energetic crowd of start-ups, entrepreneurs and investors to flock to Riga, an ever-growing start-up hub full of fresh ideas and raw talent.
Ösel Dry Gin is the first Estonian artisanal gin. It comes from the historic village of Lahhentagge - the birthplace of Admiral Bellingshausen, who discovered Antarctica.
Distilled from rich Öselian rye and mixed with hand-picked herbs and roots from the island’s coastline, Lahhentagge is fragrant and smooth, while bracing and rich in flavour. It is a gin distilled in the spirit of the north, the Öselian spirit. With ingenuity, firmness and grit, Lahhentagge is the Öselian gin.
The juniper berries of Saaremaa, joined with the floral bouquet of cowslip and lilac are the tastes that greet you. Then the taste develops on the tongue, filling your mind with wild thyme and Nordic ginger, and leaving an exhilarating aftertaste.
The gin was launched only late last year in Saaremaa and in addition to being available on the island – where we are closer to Latvia than to Estonia – the limited batches are so far on sale only in Tallinn.
However, barmen in Moscow, Helsinki, Berlin, London and Prague have already made fantastic cocktails with the gin and are eagerly awaiting for Lahhentagge's expansion.
We are starting from Riga on Feb 7.
