Andrejs started as video game reviewer and creative project producer in various entertainment portals. Then joined at that time social network king @Draugiem.lv as a game manager, later as founded a game development studio Next Level that created the most profitable social game "Oceania" in Latvia and grew to a team of 16 people Join the meetup to know more about: 1. The changes in the gaming industry over the last 7 years 2. Hindsight bias (having to analyze decision making at that point in time with that available information) 3. Illusion of skill in events governed by random factors (being successful makes you think, you are the one responsible for it) and lessons learned 4. Not enough testing and information verification, before fleshing out a new project (because of point 2.) ... and the lessons learned from the journey!
