KEYNOTE: Ernests Stals (LV) & Juha Ruohonen (FI)
Ernests is the CEO and co-funder of Dripit.io. Dripit.io helps online marketers understand the true value of their marketing channels by applying mathematics and game theory to evaluate each individual solution's contribution to customer journey. He's also the co-founder and board member of TechHub Riga and had been involved in the Latvian startup scene for more than 5 years! All his startup initiatives had been related to data analytics and machine learning.
As a startup founder, he has had hard lessons to learn about hiring, company culture building from scratch and raising funds to run the business and all that, my friends, you'll get to hear!
Juha Ruohonen helps Finnish tech companies enter the global markets. As of December 2015, they have launched a new VC fund investing in B2B software in Finland and nearby areas. At Superhero Capital they are looking for the next superheroes changing the world for better. Before he has been involved with several high-growth, VC -funded startups aiming for global markets. Total capitalization of the companies exceeds 20 M€. He's also a founder of Startup Sauna and the first Head Coach (nickname "Le Drill Sergeant").
Juha will share his insights on general overview of the Nordic & Baltic startup scene from the VC point of view!
