Tel Aviv meets Berlin: Social meets Entrepreneurship

Enjoy our social entrepreneurship meetup in cooperation with Migration Hub. Migration Hub will give you an update on their activities and some startups will give you an idea how social entrepreneurship and business models come together and what's the difference between profit and impact. Meet some of our speakers: • Jan Ihmels, founder of Lingua.ly. The German-Israeli team offers a peer-to-peers language learning platform. Currently the team runs first pilots for people with a migration background in Hessia. • Thomas Noppen, co-founder & CEO of HiMate! HiMate! brings together businesses and refugees. Businesses offer refugees their products and services as vouchers on HiMate! Refugees reserve the vouchers via the HiMate! app and redeem them in the companies. That way HiMate! facilitates donation processes for businesses and brings the receiver of help to the help –and the people providing it. Companies circumvent bureaucratic donating procedures via refugee shelter; refugees meet the people in their new surroundings and integrate faster.
