Women in Data Science local conference

National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Women Who Code Kyiv are proud to partner with Stanford University to bring the Women in Data Science, WIDS conference to Kyiv, Ukraine: http://www.widsconference.org/. Galyna Oliynyk (NLP scientist at OCEAN.IO) will talk about the most popular word embeddings, their mathematical background, real use cases, their pros and cons. 12.00 - 12.40 - 'An ideal reform - data-driven decision. ProZorro's attempt to find perfection', Inna Memetova (Data Analytic at ProZorro) will talk about public procurement, ProZorro and where they find data. 12.40 - 14.00 - lunch 14.00 - 18.00 - video streaming from Stanford WiDS This one-day technical conference will bring together local academic leaders, industrial professionals and students to hear about the latest data science-related research in a number of domains, to learn how leading-edge companies are leveraging data science for success, and to connect with potential mentors, collaborators, and others in the field. The conference aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and support women in the field. This annual one-day technical conference provides an opportunity to hear about the latest data science related research and applications in a broad set of domains.
